Yeah i know mate, i don't expect him to come back the same player - hence why i'm not saying i can't wait for him to come back and be a crucial player. But hopefully he still has enough in him to offer something once he returns from injury, he also seems like the type of player who will be giving it 100% to be getting back into shape as quickly as possible (within reason ofc)

he does come across as a tryer. not like a gibbo etc who just want the money.

i hope he returns and is able to play for us at the highest level again.

Really missing this guy's ability to do something different. There can't really be anyone who can't admit we could have done with at least the option of bringing him on from the bench in the last month or so.

Our other options simply aren't as good.

I think we'd have beaten Liverpool if he wasn't injured. Milner certainly wouldn't have had such an easy night if he was on the pitch.
