Pace to burn. Lots in here wanted a look at him a year or so ago. What's changed? He rinses us each year so I really dunno what the issue is. Fee will be nothing like 30m btw.

yes, as he had a great season in 14/15.

Was poor last year, though did miss two months through injury.

Got 6 goals and 6 assists still. That's more than any of our players bar Barkley or Rom added to the team last year...

Funny how when we get more money people suddenly forget the people they used to want. *eye roll*

.....I assume RK wanted a big strong type which is why he was keen on Arnautovic. Bolasie is probably next on his list. Bolasie's goal scoring and assist stats are poor but RK might see him in that Kone role, supporting Lukaku. I doubt it was either Mata or Bolasie.

Based on what?

Scored the same amount of goals last season.

Lennon has had a good career for Leeds and Spurs and played 58 European games and 21 England games

Bolasie played in alot of clubs below premiership level and three season for Palace scoring 9 League goals....

Honestly bolasie is amazing to watch on form, it's Koeman job to get that consistent from him.

"FFS sign players everton, you have no money do you FFS", everton start signing players "FFS not him, I don't want him, he is costing us to much and we wont get any money back FFS everyone out bla bla bla!

Replace the name Aidan McGeady with Yanick Bolasie.

Then replace £1.5million with £30million.

Same player. Bigger fee.

This is the Stones money obviously. It's sell to buy - I mean the timing pretty much screams that surely?

But it's sell quality to overpay for absolute rubbish it seems.

Christ... yes, my head has fell off over this one. Totally. Nightmare.
How many times has esk mentioned us selling stones would allow us to increase our wage budget? so no not sell to buy, but yes selling stones has now allowed us to move forward on transfers

I can understand Walsh's perspective somewhat. Sign mavericks who have shown class but have struggled or had adversity during their career. What I don't understand is the inflated fees. That logic of signing rough diamonds should mean reduced prices? I thought there'd be more Bolasie style signings for way cheaper. Bolasie would be a good punt for like 10-15m after the season palace had. For 30m we should be looking for the real deal right? someone with a consistent end product???
