We started to win when tom Davies and Morgan schnerderlin were added to the midfield. Just give bolasie a chance, with these two playing behind him, before he is written off completely.

This is dumb. We started to win when Bolasie got hurt...we started to win when Robles came in, we started to win when Snides got signed, we started to win when Gana went to AFCON, we started to win when Davies started, we started to win when Jags got dropped. Saying it's because of one injury to a player who was actually decent is obtuse.
We were 10 points off a champions league place when Bolasie got injured on Dec 4th, and we're 12 points off a CL place now.

Murphy said we had no chance of top four next season, without seeing who leaves or who we bring in, especially when we will have funds.Of course it's always uphill for us to get into the CL positions, with the current top six and assuming they all strengthen. But making sweeping statements like we have absolutely NO chance struck me as a bitter Red, the league has been largely average this year.Did he say that the season before Liverpool finished 7th under Rogers?What did he say about Leicester the season before they won the league?My point being he was being sweeping without the full picture.

With the squad as it is, he's right. But that's before we see where our squad is come August. It will definitely be stronger, but will it be strong enough to withstand the Europa league and a challenge for the top 4. I'm trying to be realistic not pessimistic, naturally I'm hoping to be proved wrong.
