so...we will have Rom up front (Maybe) with the likes of Bolasie (maybe), Gerry, Lennon, Mirallas and Barkley filling 3 slots behind. All these players are 'confidence' players who are prone to sulking and hiding if things are not going our way but also in Gerry and Bolasie we would posses 2 of the most skillful players in the division .....We are going to be so hot and cold this season .....We need more consistent performers. As for the fee being banded around its ludicrous but nothing more than a sign of the times.

That is a very selective quote. Most of the Palace forums are a) pleased with the price , b) think Townsend is an upgrade and c) wish Bolasie all the best but that's football.
He usually makes my jaw drop when he beats four defenders and welts it into the crowd.

Stones is 22. Can be taught the game.

Bolasie is 27 at the peak of his.
 

Not the player I dreamed we will be breaking our transfer record on, but I feel like having faith in Koeman/Walsh. If they deem he'd fit our planned style, then I'd trust it.
Think we should give him a chance, tbh.

Townsend an upgrade.

There you go. We've spent £30mill on a feller who's no "Andros Townsend"
 
Fee sounds stupid but it's just because of the current market.

He wont be our most expensive signing in this window....if this goes through

Townsend for £12m is a much better transfer than Bolasie for £25m all day.

We are behaving like kids in a sweet shop with a fiver in our pocket since Stones went today.

Someone needs to calm the fork down and switch the PlayStation off.

Is agree with the above, we have been very patient with his failings, he came to us for £250K and we all remember that.

I think Bolasie will regret moving, he is never a £25m player, he will get absolutely ripped to pieces if he plays for you like he did for us last half of last year, walking around with a prima donna attitude.

I thinks its a strange signing for you tbh, we picked up Andros Townsend for £13m and so far he looked a clear step above Bolasie
