I had two ACL injuries/recons when I was playing and I never lost any pace, admittedly I didnt have any pace to start off with like

My acl reconstruction didn't cost me any pace. I could outpace a photon until I was around 33, when my pace started to evaporate.

Mind you, I knackered my acl aged 40!
