2017/18 Yannick Bolasie

He needs to start having an impact on games very soon or I'm going to lose patience again.

If he slows down one more attack by doing daft tricks for no purpose I will get very angry. You're in the team to be direct and attack, not to get on soccer am.

The worst part will be when Coleman is back because it'll make his attacking qualities completely redundant. Might as well sit back on the half way line because the chances of getting any combination play with Bolasie going range from nil to zero.

One of the worst signings in our history given the money, his quality and the injury.

Has to be up there doesn't it mate. He was very inconsistent at Palace but did occasionally impress, we're 18 months in and yet to see him string a few half decent games together for us.

Did he actually do "anything" of note yesterday? Actually a fan of Bolasie but think hes been rushed back and too much expected of him from a team devoid of attacking ideas.

Not his biggest fan, but he probably slows attacks down because we commit so few players to them. The team is set up to defend and nothing else.

I think Bolasie probably thinks of himself as a combination of Salah and Mahrez; with the speed and acceleration of the former and the tricks and skills of the latter. Look at both of them individually and realise why they are as good as they are - Salah doesn't get involved with flip-flaps or 16 stepovers before attempting a cross or pass, he just does what he is good at which is pushing the ball ahead of him and sprinting onto it, then either getting a shot off or setting up a teammate. He's exceptional at it and he just sticks to what he knows.

Mahrez, he is quick but not a real sprinter like Salah. He's got the flicks, skills and through balls, and again does what he's great at. You don't see him really sprinting at top pace right down the line, he limits his game to those characteristic that he knows he's a master at.

Bolasie, on the other hand, thinks he can sprint down the line, taking on defenders and setting up teammates. He thinks he can out-trick anybody on the field and cause panic in defence, but in reality he's probably been successful with a dribble/assist combo about two times in his Everton career, and his flicks more often end up out of play than with a teammate to go onto something positive. He's a liability and needs shunting out of the club as soon as possible. Truly terrible player. A YouTube player if ever there was one.
