Im sure there were cheaper players we could have bougt to appease lukaku. I like Bolasie, but it was clear as day he wasn't good enough for us. Hope he proves us wrong.

I think Zaha is overrated, he’s better than bolasie who I’ve never rated. But for attacking player that could cost 60mil. Zaha’s goal return and assists is not that great. If you’re paying big money for wide forwards, they have to score goals.
That’s why Walcott for 20mil is a bargain.

Bolasie brings home 4.2m based on your estimation; around 110-140 times more than most people on here. And for what?

i think zaha is exactly the same. Maybe a tad better, but nowhere near good enough for us. His stats, like bolasie's are never top 4/6 like which is what we should aim for if we're going to buy players from down that end. Think he's improved this season and people have jumped on it, he's twice the player now he was back then imo.

It is mate. I think it's still quite sickening that good players earn even more. Movie stars get paid millions for pretending to be someone else, akin to my 7 year old daughter who pretends she owns a shop with her little plastic till. Where youtube streamers earn thousands of pounds a week for streaming computer games. I never thought there would be a world where people who play games and pretend to be someone can earn enough cash to buy a small country. I suppose where there's demand, there's supply. It's weird.

When I thought he was left footed I thought he was worth keeping as that is a rare trait in our squad. However now I know he's right footed I would prefer us to move him on and replace him with a left footed winger. We already have Vlasic and Lookman as right footed cover for Walcott. He was unlucky with the injury but I see him as a luxury we can manage without.

Comes across as a nice, genuine fella...but he's not very good at football. Like 90% of the squad he needs selling asap.
Honestly, this club has spunked 200 million quid against the wall.
I hear some people say all our recent (last 2 years) signings are just suffering a little homesickness and it's affecting their game; but professional footballers should expect to move from their boyhood clubs. To me, this ,"oh, it's just a little homesickness" excuse I keep hearing is a bit of a sop.
