I agree. Lascelles played for Forest in the Championship not too long ago, can't get in the England squad over Phil Jones, doesn't want to leave Newcastle, they don't want to sell him, club captain etc.

We could keep putting bids in all the way until the window shuts and 1 of 2 things will happen... Either he doesn't move and we get no-one or we pay massively over the odds for a decent prem player and I'm talking 50/60m here.

MINA STIL ON EVERTON'S RADAR
Everton remain in contact with Barcelonaover a deal to sign Colombia defender Yerry Mina, Sky Sports News understands.
Reports in Spain have claimed a deal is already in place between the two clubs with Everton paying just over £28m for Mina.

True but it was an easy call at the time given the noises out of United.
