Well its on us to determine what is the truth and what isnt.

In my humble opinion United only ever had a fleeting interest and if United REALLY wanted him, they would have signed him.

But here we are assuming that the deal is done due to a press report, whilst im saying you cant trust the press.

So forgive me, I always type in absolutes, im very aware that im wrong vastly more times than im right, but I personally consider the press reports linking him to United were nothing more than a smokescreen.

The press with there lies and half truths can cloud anyones judgement. We cannot say with certainty what is the truth or not. The Man Utd links could have been the truth or downright lies....but we don't know. According to the press we are on the cusp of signing him but that could be downright lies. Interpretation of the press is not easy but as some say there is no smoke without fire.
