Rather than judge from afar like many so called experts, he actually lives in Brazil and travels around South America on regular basis watching games. He seems to be a fairly good judge of player, he called out Mori before we even signed him, also called out Paulinho and Lamela (Vickery is a Spurs fan btw) and more recently he has said he thinks that the CB that West Ham signed from South America, Balbuena is not good enough for the PL. He seems to really like Mina though which is a good thing.
