He's going to take some time to develop, but he's decent now with still a ton of ceiling. His foot skills are exceptional for his size and he's a monster in the air. Will take some time with his positioning and his 1 v 1 defending could use some work. But he's good enough and should be playing with Keane.

Didn't think the CBs were the problem so much last night. They were awfully exposed and did well considering. Mina is doing well adapting but the biggest test of the season is this weekend. Anfield and the Bridge he did fine and I expect it'll continue even if we give up a couple of goals.

What kind of utter sad sack joins another teams forum to post negative stuff about a player who was at their club less than 6 months.

Really must have a good life you lad

Actually I praised Digne as a very astute signing for you guys, I'm giving an honest assesment of our ex players as our clubs are beginning to form a solid partnership

Dreadful defender we were very glad to be rid off him he singlehandedly made us concede 5 goals against a reelgation team and ruined our undefeated season, has a brain fart and red cars in him every other game.

How well do you think Lenglet has been playing? He was an alternative for us aside from Mina.

Well, given barca have the 8th worst defence in their league, maybe you shouldn't have sold him. Or are you another jealous kopite.

@FCBarça ??!!?!,!,,!!,!,!

I have commented on Mina earlier in this thread when he was first linked to Everton. I was not a huge proponent of his sale but understood very logically that it was a sound business decision to sell him at the time due to his good WC performances. He was at Barcelona for less than 6 months, a mixed bag in terms of success/fit but I liked his personality, enthusiasm and intangibles. CB is a difficult position to come and establish at Barcelona in under 6 months, especially midway through the season. Clearly Valverde lacked trust in the player and it has to be viewed as a great bit of transfer business for Barcelona (Bought for 11.8 M, sold for 30.25M + 1.5M variable).

Plus, apparently there is a buyback clause of some kind in the contract
