Feeney is not ready for 1st team football and Holgate has been playing a whole season at full back at West Bromwich. Yes it’s early, but we are short.

I'm not sure why people are being so harsh on him. He's been unlucky with injuries, it happens. De Bruyne has just had a similar up and down season, fitness-wise.

Against Chelsea I thought he was excellent. Liverpool too. Very calm on the ball and can play out.

Hated the performance vs Millwall but people forget that Digne was absolutely toilet in that game too.

I hope he can get in the team and keep his place next season.

It’s handy that there’s a Copa America this summer as well as he needs games to build up his fitness. Hopefully stand him in good stead for the start of the season.

No idea why people are writing him off, I think we’ve seen glimpses last season that he’s actually very good.

He’s had a tough time with injuries and he had to adapt that to the fact that the Premiership is hard work physically.
