Do you actually know what the stat is or any concept of how they measure it, or what players over the years top the progressive passing stat. Do you know what wyscout is and how clubs use it and what it records
It’s not so much the ‘progressive passing’ thing I find ridiculous (although the answer to that question is no I don’t know what it actually entails) more the ‘top 20 under 25’ aspect of it which makes it rather meaningless and not particularly impressive.

Forget Zouma, we will not be getting him back.

...I think the key here is that Brands finds a Zouma ‘type’. I was really encouraged when he acquired Zouma because he provided everything I said we were lacking.

A Zouma type playing alongside Mina could be formidable, it will certainly be an improvement and allow Silva to deploy his team model.

I didnt know we were lacking a big clumsy oaf at CB, thought we pretty much had that covered.

Nothing wrong with Keane, Mina and he will form a decent partnership in my humble opinion. I feel a lot of people can't get over Keanes first season when he was a train wreck.
I still feel he's lacking a bit. On Saturday he was good at winning headers and whatever, but he was caught out by a couple of simple diagonal balls in behind, and a couple of times was slow to react to things and let people nip in ahead of him. I've just liked a post of yours in a different thread that is relevant here I think, Keane's neither awful nor great. He's OK, but long term i'd like to see better.

Imo the gold standard in that class is Koulibaly - obviously he’s way outside of our reach, but it’s international window, I can pipe dream.

Spot on. He's not perfect but I seriously doubt we could sign a better player unless we fork out a lot of money and I doubt that'll happen anytime soon. Let him and Mina play together and form a partnership and see how it goes.. I think they'll make a good pairing.

The thing is we need another CB. As I’d imagine holgate will be moving on and Gibson will probably stay at 4th choice next season. And they will buy a really good CB so Keane & Mina will be both be under pressure, hopefully someone With pace.

Goes without question we need another CB, we are very threadbare in that regard, competition for places always helps as well, wouldn't like to see Keaneand Mina get complacent because we have nowt else.
