Really wish we tied down Zouma to partner this man all season. That being said Holgate has comparable qualities and is looking like the best partner to big Yerry at the moment. One of the few players I am happy with in this team

He needed to either track the pass or step in to the tackle for the goal. Got caught in two minds. He also tried to knock Son over when he lost his feet, but luckily for us Son stayed on his feet and decided to blatantly dive late for that decision. Saved us a pen. Great ball to Digne and redeemed himself.

I was really surprised he tried to close the ball carrier for their goal. Centre half's need to have a cautious mindset. Blocking any possible pass and slowing the play was the priority surely. Whether that was actually possible to do is questionable so I'll cut him some slack.

You can never know for sure, but anyone else would have been slaughtered for it. I felt I should at least point it out. You can’t always be perfect in a situation like that though. It’s difficult.

Goals are coming for him. No way he's going to win as many headers as he has been and never see it go in. Just a matter of time. He's been brilliant at the other end in the meantime.
