...not really, but a few were impressed with him yesterday and we need a right sided left footer. I was being a bit mischevious but he’s consistent even if he’s only just south of 30.

Are they both “very good “ in the air though? Mountfield was what I call “very good “ in the air....proper defending and marking, but also scored a fair few with his nut every season.
Not sure Keane and Mina (between them) have scored anywhere near what Degsy scored in one season.

I've always thought Townsend was a decent hard working player who makes things happen around about him without being spectacular.

Always did a good job with England whenever he played as well.

The problem eggs is that he isn't consistent enough, hence why he is at palace and not further up the league (so to speak).

Reminds me a little of limpar for us. He was very inconsistent and could be out of a game completely my young memory recalls. On his day though he was fantastic for us.
