played well. thunderous header off the xrossbar. not at fault for the goal. How Colombia let him and Davison Sanchez take penalties?

Colombia are soft mentally at top tournaments. They dont actually believe they belong at the top table.

Btw, The colombian left winger, Luis Diaz was sensacional. Best player on the pitch.

Emi Martinez was a monster on the penalties

Messi mugged him for strength twice in one sequence in the second half. It was very impressive. TBF that low center of gravity put him at a disadvantage.

Messi will do what he does.

It is worrying about 17 year old debutants from the likes of sheff United that wrecks my head.

Yerry stayed on his feet and forced Messi to get his shot away quickly. Lucky for Colombia it hit the post.
 


Out of character for Leo, even if I do not approve of showboating on penalties - wonder if this was linked to advocating for his BFF, Luis Suarez, and how Yerry danced in the penalty shootout
