Was not only our best CB before he got hurt (again), was becoming the leader on the pitch. Also was turning into a massive snot and wind up merchant with the opposing forwards, which I love - we don't have enough of that.

He's still got a very good reputation in world football and I reckon we could find a sucker to pay 20m for him somewhere, maybe even Newcastle. There is just absolutely no point in keeping him (if there's a chance of selling him for decent money) because he just misses far too many games through injury. I know it's too much to ask for, but if we could somehow offload two of him, Holgate and Keane it'd be amazing.
That, along with biding adieu to Delph, Tosun, Kenny and Sigurdsson this summer, would be bloody ace.
