2022/23 Yerry Mina

Anyone have any idea what his record was like before Everton?
That World Cup he looked so good and I was surprised we got him
I don't want to blame everything on our medical department, but it seems like plenty of our players seem to have bad luck with injuries...(Yerry more than most of course)

i hope we can support him though. He's obviously not doing it on purpose, and like I felt about Iwobi, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, even Davies,Coleman, Gomes.- when our players are ours, they get our 100% support whatever happens, am i right?

(before i get attacked, where's the evidence that he's going out to get himself injured to just sit and earn wages without doing anything?)
I think his bones are made of a very rare porcelain China,if he was a statue he would be worth Brewsters.

He has to be offloaded at the first opportunity now, even if fit i wouldn't play because it disrupts a settled defence.

Love the guy and great defender but its time to go he is offering us nothing.
Nail on head really. Get rid and don't look back. Shouldn't be in our squad again as long as two of Holgate/Keane/Godfrey are available.

It's a shame Colombia are not at the World Cup. Would have been a useful tool for us to show how good he is when available (as he would be available...) and could have been a perfect shop window for him.

Easier to sell the dominant Colombian centre half than the perma crocked Everton defender I suppose.

Exactly this, i know he has a terrible injury record but I'm their will be takers for Mina.

There will of course, but, not for a fee, not when he is out of contract in the summer and his current wages are, reportedly, upwards of 100k per week. I think the best we can hope for is a 6 month loan until he is out of contract, with us paying the lion's share of his salary.

He’ll be another one to run off the end of his contract.

Think Mina, Doucoure, Coleman, Davies are all out of contract this summer. I’d just be brutal and get rid of all them.
Yep, would very, very happily wave goodbye to those set. Would just need one midfielder to replace both Davies and Doucouré, and some either up and coming (like 18/19 year old) RB or out of favour but still decent one on loan. Two in to replace those four.

I’m hoping Branthwaite is ready next season.

Coady Tarkowski Godfrey Holgate Branthwaite would be a decent set of CBs

Move on Keane and Mina.
