He never really played to be honest to my memory or got a good run together, then he was gone, him and and Danny Williamson. He was a good player though was made up when we signed Jim ,for big money at the time, WHU got the best him. Was part of a great Croat generation. Think he went on to play in the World Cup Semis in 1998.

Thought Danny Williamson came as part of the Unsworth deal mate, but my memory might be hazy. The lad had a terrible time with injury, we never saw enough of him really. Looked alright at WHU.

My memory is we got Williamson and a few bob for Unsworth, won’t correct you as my memory is hazy, I remember it because I thought it was stupid letting Unsworth go and wasn’t happy with the deal.

Hughes was a disappointment alright, he looked good in a very good Arsenal team, think that a few years later, Walter wasn’t it!

Think the only good thing we got off Arsenal them days was Limpar, used to love watching him play, him on one wing and Kanchelskis on the other, what I'd give for that now..
