Rob

Player Valuation: £20m
ok, I'm really nervous about this result and so I thought it might be good if we had one last discussion before the result comes out (10:30am GMT)

I'm a yes, and I want to see a yes verdict returned.

SSN says we have voted yes, but I won't believe that until I see it.

so then blues, today is the day, leave or stay...... what do you say?

first and foremost. it's only a game and were only 'moving house'. more things in life are so much more important that sometimes you have to step back and say.. well it's a pisser everton are leaving liverpool but in the greater scheme of my life and the people around me it really does not rank that high on my list of priorities.

having said that i have always said i will back the decision 100% either way regardless of my own feelings on the matter.

yes.. ok. let's get behind the new stadium and make sure the board understand we don't want a pride park, riverside, saint mary's and the rest... but a great intimidating stadium for the blues to win in.

no... great. let's get stuck in to proper sites (i don't like the look of the loop) and keep us where we belong. bully the lcc into giving us a site worthy of the great efc.

Its time to move on.

The stadium has done its job and if this was a player transfer, we'd be howling for them to stop dithering and upgrade.

YES.

Everton have always been the great innovators in football, we've brought so much to the game and Goodison was part of that innovation, but we've suddenly started living in the past because we've hit a bit of a rough patch.

Its time to move on and become innovators again.

Its a yes from me, but if its a no vote I wont be too dissapointed, it'll be then the time to look at other ideas.

I love your view on it, either way positive right?

Yes, lets go for it.

No, lets go for something else :D(y)

Yes go for it, I would like there to be some kind of unique stadium design which makes it stand out, like Wembley has the arch old goodison has the church. I would like something to make it stand out from it being just another stadium....I.e. Bolton or Middlesboro, both stadiums look soulless to me.

totally agree with this. Amist all the debate regarding the move, little has been mentioned about the design. Whilst the traditional stadium, may also be a way of justifying a cheaper design, I believe we should architecturally be a little more adventurous.

A sign saying the peoples club and a few big ass lights doesn't communicate the personality of everton enough.

Have to say, that even though the plans the KEIOC lot came up with for the loop site, were quite poor - I liked the tower motif.

We need something unique as zero said. Something that differentiates us. that demarcates the place as the new home of the school of science.

Kirby or no Kirby, we cannot build something that has to last us another 100 years, that is soulless, and fails to stir the emotions.

Think the whole point of the move is the fact its on the cheap, so if we do start gettin silly and spending too much money on the stadium, then everyone who is against the move we have been right.

lets just keep it cheap, as long as it holds 50,000 evertonians and has a good atmosphere i couldn't give a toss what it looks like. I mean just look what the [Poor language removed] are planning to build

have some pride fella. This isn't just another marketing scheme, or just another business plan.

Eh? the point of the move is because Goodison is ready for the knackers yard and we need a new one...if its cheap then good doesn't mean it can't be unique something that evertonians will instantly see as our new home....instead of a giant billboard across the side of the stadium with People's club written on it.

I think Yes will be the answer but not by much....53% Majority I reckon.

2 minutes to go...are we the only people waiting for this? :P

How can an opinion be wrong as it is only an opinion ?

My point was if they can build a stadium that looks like the one in the plans, then why should we piss more money up the wall for a stadium that looks like a piece of modern art ....... its a football stadium for christs sake
