If you mean to force the hand of the Turks then the problem is they have an established relationship with Yobo and his people so they'll know better than anyone the interest in the player. For example a story was released last year saying Wigan were in for Yobo (Wigan could no more afford the wages than Norwich ) so two phone calls later it's easily exposed as a nothing leaked story.

TBH, I'd be seriously considering touting him around Turkey as he seems to have built a rep for himself over there, even if it meant him going on loan. with a set price deal in place if he played X games.
For me Yobo has got a lot to offer and sending him out of view to a league with little visibilty to the rest of Europe was a mistake. Now we are paying the price. The money being talked about is far too low also IMO. he has another four or five years at this level and his price should reflect that that.
The problem as much as anything is his wages , for a centre-half of his age he's on massive money. In the prem for example the majority of clubs that could afford him would be looking a level higher, the reality as well he likes it as fene and they like him. Massive money where the fans & club like you , where you are settled , like living & you are winning games/trophies for him it's a no-brainer really
Bring him back to the UK. That might make things move.

Agree with all that. Bit frustrating to see we've left ourselves in a position where we don't have any bargaining power at all. The only way we will get some is by another club, preferably a rival of thiers, showing interest in Joey.

Told you he was back in Nigeria . It wasn't agreed by 5 last night & I've just been told its not done but is very close. it could be completed in minutes if a small amount of movement took place which I think is what's happening
