A lot of that is very true, but then for some reason he broke the team up and played with a less attacking system, I remember the first game of the season after the change, Norwich City smashed us 4-2 at Goodison, don’t know why he changed, because as you say there was much to admire about Everton’s attacking style when he first came and settled into his own style. I never worried about him selling McKenzie, Duncan played for himself and would have fared better on The London Palladium rather than Goodison, but I acknowledge he was well regarded by many fans at Everton, personally I never lost any sleep when he was sold to Chelsea.
