Arsenal starting playing a huge crop of youngsters when Arteta came in, it took a while to get going but they now have a great young squad and are clearing out the old jobbers from the dressing room

I think we have to look at them as a blueprint - it won't lead to instant success but it can work

We need to sell players and add more u23s then build a new squad.

At least 50% should be u23 and pushing to start.

Kenny although not fantastic did fine last night, Seamus cannot come back in now,Branthwaite has to stay in,Gordon has to stay in,Dobbin especially and Simms,also Onyango can now be properly integrated into our limited "squad",hopefully in the middle of this crisis we have seen a few green shoots of a recovery taking place.

Great to see so many play and show the character they did.

I would love to see them pick up more game time over the course of the season. If Benitez can get most of them integrated into the matchday team by the end of the season then he will have done very well indeed. But they are novices at this level so I am not expecting miracles from them.

I can see people getting a bit carried away with this. The young lads will be massively inconsistent and will have bad matches, and history suggests that people will turn on them.
