Your Favourite and least Favourite accent

It's embarrassing. I cringe when I see some scousers on the telly. Over the top, nobody really talks like that it's all a big "look how Scouse I am" off.

From the distance (north wilts) am I right in my thoughts that those who have those exaggerated scouse accents tend to be kopites, whereas Everton fans tend to have the more cultured softer accent? That's what I've found down here when I come across them. The one exception was the head teachers' secretary who had a lovely soft scouse accent but was a rs - although she admitted all her family were blue.

If I'm honest mate it doesn't seem to be one or the other. Last time I really cringed was at the match the other week and it was a fella about 50 stood two seats away who was almost indecipherable. It's not even just the young ones. Oh and Bellew on the telly the other day as well, I've met him and he doesn't speak anywhere near as "mad Scouse" as he was then.

My sons teacher is South African I have a really hard time keeping a straight face when she speaks. All I can think of is Harry Enfield in a gym.

'I'd really like to go out with Kate Moss'.

I always say that name in a South African accent thanks to Harry Enfield.

Empty heads. Most of them anyway. My mate works on the lifeboats there and he said he genuinely thinks the people are from the 1800's and just been dumped into the modern world.
