The first world cup i watched was 1982 in Spain. I was at junior school at the time and tried to watch as many games as i could. The game that stood out more than any other went down in footy history as one of, if not the best game of all time, Italy 3 Brazil 2. Once any kid watched that game you could only be hooked for life. Total quality!

1966. I was 8 years old, that year was the first time we had a tv in our house. I watched the final with my dad and danced like Nobby at the end of the game.

You could feel the temperature through the picture and the muffled sound let you know this was on the other side of the world, with boss exotic socceristas that you barely knew.
