Your forum is sh*te

I have two serious complaints.

1 - Sometimes you get this big black area covering the lower part of the screen on this forum only. Even when you click on other forum pages it doesn't go away.

2 - When I click that go to last post button it often sends me to a post about five hours before the last one. It happens probably twice every week.


I use google chrome, am right handed and Vista.

Actually far more people use IE than that (almost double) --those are just the usage stats for w3 which are comprised of more savvy users who use different browsers.http://www.impressivewebs.com/browser-usage-stats/ It's a semi-famous (in internet terms) deal that they SEO'd themselves to # 1 and people think it's reliable data. They then underestimate how much they need to test IE compatibility not realizing that half the people visiting their site will be using IE (and a not insignificant portion of those will be using an insanely old version of IE).

No my work comp is locked down like Kentight's pockets. I cannot install a new app without creating a a ticket with our Helpdesk and an Admin has to log onto my comp. In other words we are forced to use IE.

I was too, on DOD computers no less. So I installed Firefox portable onto a thumb drive, and ran it AT WORK, from said thumb drive.

Worked like a CHARM!!!

My biggest task with GOT is keeping it sustainable.

Financially - we've done well since last August. By well, I mean our costs are down to typically that of a decent mobile phone contract. We have you lot to thank for that, through your support of Paddy Power and the donation system amend (forum subscriptions).

Time wise - admittedly, it can be a ball ache. But that's about us (or rather, me) finding a balance.
