I don't know if it's an English thing, a Liverpool thing, or a GOT thing, but the terms that folks here have used here to describe other posters make me laugh: trumpet, weapon, helmet, parcel, plant pot, flute, bell...etc.

You don't see these types of descriptors here in the USA as far as I know. It's definitely something I love about this place.
