Martinez is a good fit for Hull in a way - but only if he retains Phelan as his No.2. He's a strong character who's worked with the best and that's what RM needs - as without any challenge from his back room staff his mental decisions cost sides.

If he gets it, best of luck to him, apart from against us.

*Awaits 3-0 battering at Goodison :(

He can have some goodwill from us in the shape of some terrifically phenomenal signings at preferential rates.
 
Not claiming this is reliable but a well known fan who always had good contacts in the Bill era, not so sure now, telling people to 'forget Witsel, forget Mata but 3-4 in before season starts and probably around 6 by the end of the window'.

None of the signings likely to take our breath away. If City meet our price we will sell Stones.

We have the money but we are struggling to get deals over the line because we are aiming at a level of player who do not see us as a top option. Very, very clear though that the money is there.

The selling players project is coming along nicely, lots of former managers needing reinforcements - Ill finish the brochure for them, i have lashed in a Buy one get one free offer am not even arsed.

Sounds pretty plausible to me.
 
If you know someone ITK do you become an ITK by association because you will know what they know & they will know that you know what they know & know you may be classed as a better ITK because you manage to get what they know out there before they know you have said what they know to those who don't know who will also then know so are they then ITK because I don't really know

He'll prob do a one season wonder like he done with us, all his praises will be sang and then he'll sink them if he doesn't get a move elsewhere on the back of that. Baffles me why they'd even consider the man, he ruins clubs from the inside out not just on the pitch...
