You can't find it over here. Duck in general isn't available on a lot of menus, even ar the Chinese. A lot of the Canadians don't experiment with food so its usually beef, chicken and pork only everywhere.I thought crispy duck was world renowned .At least you introduced them to something different. Fair play kidda. You wouldn't expect it but, here in Greece we have so many Chinese restaurants and so many bargain clothe shops run by Chinese people. On Rhodes alone, there must 15 of each at least that I know about. You can't find it over here. Duck in general isn't available on a lot of menus, even ar the Chinese. One of my mates married a manc girl so I tried my hand at doing it last week when they come over for dinner. Homemade pancakes as well. Turned out lovely.
Kept the bones and scraps and made a duck soup with chicken stock carrots and onions. That was fit as well.
More than welcome mate and I would love it.Theres loads of Chinese and Chinese restaurants over here but they don't do a crispy duck. The most you find in Ottawa is a Peking Duck with like 3-4 courses but none of it is the proper crispy stuff with the pancakes.
I bet its available just not on the menu if you know the right place because most Canadians won't buy it.
Me and the missus are planning Italy and Greece for the honeymoon. I'd love to come find you in Rhodes for a pint and Chinese.
Steak and ale pie, chips, broccoli, sprouts. Bottle of London Pride.
Best pint down here, but that's not saying much.We really should rename this thread as What is @Methuselah having with his London Pride!
