Meant the week that July 4th falls on. July 4th is a Friday this year.

I never miss a chance to celebrate the day we won our independence from you English bastards with hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and selected beverages. :lol::lol:

I was stayin in Washington DC over 4th july 2002 with work. George town if i remember rightly. Boss night i must say watchin all the celebrations right by the white house. And i pulled! "I'll show ya somethin that needs to be independent luv!" :lol::lol::lol:

A few "hiccups" on the way, but we've been on very good terms since, which I'm pretty happy about! But I would never separate an American from his chili dog.

Nor his burgers, grits (what the feck is a grit?), chips, pizzas, deep fried chicken, fried oil ... :P
 
After the Euros, counting the days till the season starts.
No hols till October, hopefully back to Merseyside for a week or 10 days.

The only good thing is the Spanish clubs have a load of pre-season tournaments which they take pretty seriously. Dirty big trophies up for grabs and all televised. Obviously nothing like the real thing but tides me over till the action starts
