Ah sorry yeah, let me get on the blower to Kev and tell him to go out and buy two first team strikers that we can’t afford because DCL and Danjuma are both doubts for one game. ‘You’ll be playing every week lads, well until DCL and Danjuma are back, which is probably next week’. Whilst I’m on I’ll tell him what an idiot he is for not just overpaying on Chermiti earlier in the window so he could feature vs Fulham, screw the financial regs Kev and getting the best deal for Everton, the fans want to see a striker upfront on Saturday.

Again, it’s not the recruitment department’s fault if players pick up injuries. Should we just stockpile three first 11s, all of equal quality, pay them all good wages, just so if all of Calvert Lewin Danjuma and McNeil go down at the same time, we’ve got the exact same quality of players to replace them with?

Our first choice striker is injured, and our second choice is carrying a knock, so we’re down to our third choice for this one game whilst a young striker has just come through the door and there’s strong links to another one on the way.
