The lad is only 19 and has years of improvement in him, I don't know what people expect of a player of that age.

If nothing else it will help shut up the stupid argument about lack of scouting when last year we bought Onana and nearly had Kudus a player I don't think anybody had heard of.
It seems to me that Thelwell is a very innovative DOF considering that he seems to have practically no budget.

I would be perfectly happy if we could get an older more experienced striker in as well , an Iheanacho or even Vardy to take the pressure off the young lad for the coming season.

Also, please sign someone creative for midfield.

1: As @Miked1e posted, we now have Branthwaite(21) Onana(21) and Chermiti(19) as the teams spine (all u21) who are all 6'4 / 6'5.

2: Stats look positive, if im going to throw a name out looking at his size and just a random name that came to mind Pierre Van Hooijdonk (probably nothing like him).

3: Some great tracking back and players bouncing off him in the clips.

So looking at him two really interesting things stand out...

1. He stands out. Hes huge. Definitely a target man for crosses and the like.
2. This came out of nowhere, so hopefully a sign they are, like last year, indeed secretly working deals and actually playing it close to the vest. So we can rule out Che Adams.

Hopefully theres another 2 or 3 more u21s to follow.

It depends on a club’s situation. With the situation we’ve put ourselves in we need to be thinking about resale value

I wouldn't be thinking there's anything in the make up of the portugese that makes them unable to play up front myself so that seems like a pointless thing to say.

Hopefully true and we unearthed a gem.

But the lineage of portuguese centre forwards since, as pointed out, Eusabio, isn't the best.
