His scoring record is not that great 3 goals last season - I hope I am wrong like ......He is six years younger than Viktor Gyokeres.

I'm really referring to persistent mistakes, and the same passion you refer to makes the groans that bit louder than clubs with slightly lower expectations.
There is a definite difference between reactions to mistakes at Goodison than lets see this season @Kenilworth rd or even the Amex for example.
We have high expectations. Our players do play with the weight of history on their shoulders, we even sing about that history.
'Boo' might be too strong a word to use I admit, because that is rare, and generally is at the whole team's performance, but you can't deny the pressure is higher at Goodison than some other clubs. Though our expectations are gradually being eroded by decades of a celebration of mediocrity at board level.
You differentiate Everton fans while at the same time saying we are the same. Goodison is known to be intimidating to visiting teams when it's on it. Is it that much of a leap to suggest it can make it tougher for our own players when things aren't going well?
….there’s an almost stereotypical view by a few posters of young players in particular having difficult times at Everton. It’s a bit of a nonsense really. I actually think fans like to see youngsters breaking through, you can see from this site the number of posters calling for youngsters to play.
More generally, players who perform well & put in a shift are well received here just like they are elsewhere. There are players who aren’t aren’t popular but I don’t hear Maupay getting booed. To suggest a young player wont come here because he’ll get stick is a total nonsense.
Goodison can be raucous and Goodison can be difficult but that tends to be aimed at the team performance, the manager, Board etc.
Ive already shown @Toffeepot that Sportings fans have caused 'disturbances' over the years. Since as far back as i remember theres been abuse, physical assaults and rucks on the pitch and outside the stadium with police and riot police when they try to get at players.
Goodison wont phase him at all.
Agreed - We’re not exactly Velez Sarsfield ultras are we?Ive already shown @Toffeepot that Sportings fans have caused 'disturbances' over the years. Since as far back as i remember theres been abuse, physical assaults and rucks on the pitch and outside the stadium with police and riot police when they try to get at players.
EDIT: They even stormed the training ground from time to time. The last time this happened in 2018 they physically attacked all Sportings players.
Goodison wont phase him at all.
….and he’s a professional sportsman, Zat. He’s more likely to relish the atmosphere than being intimidated.
He was 18. Just getting regular minutes up front for Sporting is impressive enough progress at that age, it's very very early to analyse his scoring record. He's probably good enough to make some contribution but I don't think he should (or will) be expected to do too much right away. His scoring record is not that great 3 goals last season - I hope I am wrong like ......

We are a club with limited transfer funds - it's a gamble no doubts - hope the lad takes off for us .....He was 18. How has he lost his place when to a player they signed this season when the season hasnt even started. If he signs, he will have to be a hit .... he has lost his place to the Coventry striker we were after ......who looked bog average to me ....when he played in the play offs .... There could be better no 9s in the championship cheaper imo ......
Yes & we are sellin him les than an unknown 19 year old - it's a gamble, hope he does wellMore open play goals than Gray.
Funny thing is that the OJogo article suggests he wants to move in order to surpass what he did last year, which is complicated by the arrival of Gyokeres. So he expects to contribute more for Everton than he'd have a chance to for Sporting. He was 18. Ditto like you .....How has he lost his place when to a player they signed this season when the season hasnt even started.
You dont half chat some bubbles at times Joseph.
