He barely got more than a few minutes despite having Beto and DCL failing to score during a massive winless streak.

Now we only need to play him and play to his strengths.

Only 1 of those things will happen, even if that.

I said towards the start of the season that I wanted to see him break into the 2nd choice forward role over the season by nudging Beto out.

I think he could be 2nd choice for DCL and Doucoure going into next season. A decent and gradual step up for him.

DCL & Doucoure 1 year left and Beto not making the grade so far.

The boy could have alot to look forward to next season.

….i still want to see more attacking threat. Just little things like the drive he hit over the bar, i was wanting him to go across the goal as the good strikers do. He’s certainly better in possession than Beto and encouraging that Dyche brought him on for DCL, I was really wanting him to do that.

I've said from the first time saw him, there's a player in there, if we look after his development and he keeps his feet on the ground, he will make a good Premier league player.
