Maybe he's just frustrated about the pooshow that is Everton. He did his job last season (just about) and has been given sweet FA to work with this season.
Fair call we are all Human, and not infallible, and he took on the managers job for Everton FC, the most dysfunctional football club, in the EPL, and perhaps the UK. Outstanding for him, to turn around and save Everton, EPL status, last season.

Let's judge after 5 league games, and hopefully starting the points quest tomorrow, with a win versus Wolves.

Viva Santo Domingo!

I liked the signing. But if they didn't intend to use him and have no money left for guys they might actually use, then this purchase seems like a luxury they couldn't justify.
Said it when we was interested in him not the signing we need for NOW. Who knows what we paid upfront but whatever it was could of been used elsewhere surely. Looks like we will suffer more maupay tomorrow I pray Danjuma or anyone else starts.

Though there are many player aged 18-20 playing significant roles on teams way better than Everton. Seems that this may be more a Dyche thing than an inability to play.

Seems like is the sort of signing Brighton make...
for half the price then loan out, for a season or two, to mature and maybe help with wages.

Don't see any reasoning behind buying players that aren't ready to go in the first team when we're in the position we are in. We have no payroll or fees for luxuries like depth or youth, we need two starting players and it's looking unlikely we'll get them

Well, he did pick Keane to start in both matches and Maupay in the first match so that's on him.
