I think that we will get him (although I am not ITK).
This probably revolves around how big an arse Parish wants to be , as he certainly can be.
In his mind he needs to balance CPs needs , against having Zaha with his head down and a sulk on all season. If that is how Zaha reacts then Palace will go down anyway and Zaha's value will also have plummeted.
I have faith in Big Marcel delivering , and can't see him massively overpaying unless Mosh instructs it.

I fear some of you may not be seeing the bigger picture regarding Zaha.

What exactly is it like to for our club to try and purchase quality, at the right age, when you have so many teams around the world whom can arguably offer more? It's bloody hard right! So if you can make a statement by buying a top player you most certainly should. It sends a message out to the football world you see.

So much depends on timing and circumstance! Sure you can build rapport and nurture agent/club relationships as Marcel has. It all helps. However at the end of the day if a team has serious ambition to get amongst the big boys they will have to spend big consistently.

For me there is no debate. If we have the means to buy Zaha we most certainly should. He will improve us. Timing and circumstance has presented us with this beautiful option. If fit he can move us up the table. It really is as simple as that. So many others have turned us down so I say grab while you can the best that you can get! It's not your money so don't sweat it. Pepe, Malcolm, Neres and the rest that we allegedly bid for didn't want to come here so be pleased this fella does! It's exciting right....

I'm convinced we didn't bid for any of them. Looks to me that Zaha has always been our no 1 target for RW from the start of this window. The only proven PL player out of the ones you mentioned.

Sure the price is absolutely insane and never been his biggest fan, but definitely can see the logic in going for Zaha.

Why would they go down? You DONT know that, and if he didn’t move he woudnt sulk till January he would carry on as he’s paid to

We wont hang him out to dry after he's done that to push for the move. But palace will have to come back to the table ready to meet in the middle and make the deal.

Could be wrong mate, but sure I read somewhere that Zaha had in his contract that if a Champions league team came in for him and offered good money they would let him go.

It's not in his contract.
