So we sold lookman and now doesn’t look like a new winger is coming. And we sent Zouma back and could be getting Rojo. We are putting everything on the shoulders of a 19 year old kid for goals. We keep looking at breaking into the top 6, yet Leicester have done better business than us and look stronger.

my hopeful bet based on nothing. Palace have agreed on zaha deal to us. on the fact we stay quiet while they get a replacement so they don't get overcharged and the fans dont flip.

It’s definitely a positive. This is such an intricate situation with so many moving parts that neither side will have the time to release any actual information. I doubt we’ll get a single update if the process is ongoing, and any reports out right now are just wild guesses.

I’m completely fine with this deal not happening if it doesn’t happen. It would be such an out of character signing, a little over the preferred age range, overpriced, probably won’t have a lot of sell-on value later.

How much of Zaha’s statistical profile is a result of Palace giving him the ball literally every attack? That wouldn’t happen at a bigger club.

Palace have increased their bid for a CSKA Moscow striker, my gut feeling is if that’s accepted and he signs then we get Zaha. Trust Marcel he’ll have been getting it all ready for a swift transfer.
