I don't really care about the Carabao cup. The important thing for us now is staying in the premier league. If we are in a good position in January when the f.a. cup begins for us then maybe we can get serious about that.

I’d happily take our B team getting a spanking here in return for six points from Luton and Bournemouth home in the next games, happily. Especially as I’m going on Saturday and haven’t seen us win for years.

Don't know why worrying bout 'risking' the first teamers is such a thing. Can just as easy pick up an injury in training. Play the match and train a bit less during the week. Matches make better players.
Having said that, I would leave out is Braithwaite.

Good chance to:
- play Garner and Onana in the middle
- bring Harrison into the fold
- give Chermiti a chance
- get Patterson and Godfrey playing again
Hook a few of the first teamers after 60 and give the youths a run. Interested to see how Hunt would fare.

Luton rested their top players yesterday and will be well rested for Saturday. They rightly couldn't care less about a cup that they'll get knocked out of in a round or two anyway.

We play our first 11 tonight and there's a real chance we end up battling for a draw on Saturday which is a disaster.
