2023/24 Sean Dyche

Pretty much this. We've played well enough to have won all those games, but the Fulham and Wolves games were absolutely daylight robberies. To have 2 of them in a row was ridiculous.

My view is our standard of performance has been broadly consistent both home and away, I just think away from home we have an edge because we are more comfortable with the onus being on the other team. This is the element Dyche hasn't worked out yet at home but let's be clear - it's not like we've played rubbish at home, just missed so many chances.

It's impossible for it not to turn at some point if we maintain that level but doing so while maintaining the away form is a big ask.
Good post

Sets us up to win, even if it's not the most pleasing football at all times.

Loved the manic pressure tonight, we can give up 68% possession if we're getting touches in the opp box and shots on.

Keep going you bald beautiful man.
This all day. They showed stats in the first half at one point. Like 30 odd to 60 odd percent possession. Sounds terrible.
Then touches in oppo box us like 10 and them 1.
Arsed about possession if we win games.

Loved Bobby brown shoes but his obsession with possession was the beginning of our downfall.

Overrated stat, not saying it's awful to have more of the ball but it's not the be end all of football.
