Sort of hope we string out the loaning of Holgate to Sheff United and Godfrey to Leeds all day, then PL notices tomorrow morning that Kev signed the deal sheets as Mickey Mouse. (Then check when the Turkish window closes)

Mentioned on Toffee TV but I’d thought of this before; if we are keeping Godfrey as utility, Seamus and Young are back, and the staff have ANY doubts about Patto, why isn’t he sold or at least loaned out to see if he can develop? Am saying that as someone who hasn’t written him off. But I’d be ok with abandoning the sensible long term strategy of amassing young players one last time……
Who knows? 🤷‍♂️

Sky making a show of themselves, everton looking to bring in a cm but can't even pay a loan fee....

So we're not getting one then

Allardyce studying Mcqueen in the sort of erotic fashion that Everton study young third choice Eastern European goalkeepers as squad fillers

Our transfer strategy used to be best of the rest. Cahill at Millwall, Lescott at Wolves, Baines at Wigan etc. The better players in the division below us.

Problem is now the market has meant players that we would have picked up relatively cheaply are going for £22m like that Adam Wharton who is extremely highly rated and Alex Scott who went to Bournemouth for £20m.

Yeah but the average price of a prem footballer has increased massively too.

So have revenues … it’s all relative ..

We just sold iwobi for 22m after 5 years and 5 goals lol
