Can't disagree with that!Newcastle had a bad run of injuries I think mate. But they’ve also signed for the future, Gordon looks a snip, Barnes is a good player, Bruno, Botman,, Pope, Isack, Tonali, Schar, selling Bruno forgives a lot for them.
We really were so unbelievably bad with how we invested in players, we couldn’t have done it worse.
Even if we sell our best player every year, like we have done, we still manage to make losses.
There is an argument to be made for being the worst run team ever in the PL, maybe Leeds and Portsmouth were as bad, at least they got a run for it though - we never did.
If we take this kind though then every single club in the league is screwed. If the Glazers left United they’d go under, if the Saudis left Newcastle, if Abu Dhabi left City. Every club in the world would fold under that stress test.
City posted an 80m profit for 22/23, they are absolutely fine. It's the years that got them to where they are now that are the issue.

And senior Judge Spitty would put the black cap on, and give us the death penaltyFinally we'll be a top six side on one channel at least.
Can you please explain how any club is to climb to the top and have a sustained period of success? From the second financial rules were put in place it favored clubs who happened to be doing well at that instance, hardly fair rules when the few at the top can harvest the many at the bottom for the best players. But I’m not so much taking about us. We are odd.
But forest, Villa?
They’ve spent huge amounts they shouldn’t have and this puts the future of clubs at risk.
Personally I’d make the threshold far lower but perhaps have more exceptions
8 of 20, getting near half the league and that list doesn't include City and whatever they are accused of.. Rules are not fit for purpose.. give us our 6 points back, admit the rules are not working, scrap any pending breaches, and draw up new rules.
That's what i think will happen, then that's when we bring them to an actual court and sue them to such an extent that we will never fall foul of financial issues ever again.Once they have finished with us and Forest they’ll then change the rules mate.
You seem like to assume that spending loads of money is the only way to do this. Spurs are the model that shows it can be doneCan you please explain how any club is to climb to the top and have a sustained period of success? Spurs.. they've spent 804 million in the last 4 years, while bringing in 205 million..You seem like to assume that spending loads of money is the only way to do this. Spurs are the model that shows it can be done
