See I don't follow this train of thought. IF they are guilty he big, establishment clubs will want them hammered for cheating them out of titles and places, I don't think they will see anything less than relegation as sufficient, they'll want the whole thing they've built dismantled. The medium size clubs would see it as an extra Euro spot to contend for, the bottom teams would see it as potentially one less relegation slot.

Other than City themselves who *wouldn't* want City hammered either with straight relegation or enough points to effectively be the same? Maybe TV but they'd likely be gone for one season, and Sky have the rights to the EFL too....
There is no "if". Of course they are guilty. That's already been established by UEFA and fell away only on a technicality. The problem is City are so powerful that they can tie the PL up forever - and will be a lot keener to do so than our craven cowards.

The issue is that when you allow nation states into proceedings - and let's be clear, we are not talking about France or Germany here, but kleptocratic human rights-abusing despotisms - then they become unregulatable. As the PL have found. People have been chopped up in suitcases for less...

You are right, the "if" of course is being *found* guilty with all the lawyers they have on it, not them being guilty, two very different things.
