Tarky has been worse than Keane this season. Young has also been spot on in the last few games. But fans refuse to accept that. There is no way Dyche plays Branthwaite, he wants to pick Keane as he kept a clean sheet last time and he will do anything to make sure Keane plays.
Keane & Tarkowski start on sat 100% we won't win.
can't wait for this clown to be booted into oblivion, the way he mentions the England job, it's not my time![]()

I mean fans don’t refuse to accept that. Lots have given credit to young for the past couple of games. But at the same time, a couple of games doesn’t change an opinion based off a full season and the start of this season.Tarky has been worse than Keane this season. Young has also been spot on in the last few games. But fans refuse to accept that.
That's not me saying I'd pick him over Branthwaite. But Evertonians are the most tiresome fans going. If I was an Everton player, I'd hate the fans.
whilst I agree with what you are saying, to me Dyche made his bed the 1st season he was here and we were desperate for points, we got smashed at home v Newcastle were Keane was given the run around, absolutely awful display and Dyche came out and said he played wellKeane was the least utilised defender in the entire squad last season
As soon as Branthwaite was fit to start this season Keane was benched.
The facts just don’t fit this ridiculous agenda.
I hate Keane as much as anyone else and I can’t understand why we’re not playing the kit man ahead of him at times but people pretending that Dyche is desperate to pick Keane over Branthwaite at any opportunity is just not backed up by any facts.
The CB pecking order currently is Tarkowski Branthwaite Keane O’Brien, can argue the last two should be swapped and I’d probably agree with you but Keane is not in Dyche’s first choice pairing.
He has not been, you have just noticed his moments more than Keane's while he has been asked to play where he shouldnt have to.Tarky has been worse than Keane this season. Young has also been spot on in the last few games. But fans refuse to accept that.

The bloke is halfway out the door with the job already done yet there’s still people twisting themselves inside out about hypothetical selections not even made yet.
You’re all not bothered apparently though
whilst I agree with what you are saying, to me Dyche made his bed the 1st season he was here and we were desperate for points, we got smashed at home v Newcastle were Keane was given the run around, absolutely awful display and Dyche came out and said he played wellhe then continued to play him and we kept losing points goals etc, then he was forced under fan pressure to play Mina and Coady then we started to get points on the board, (before you say Mina was injured, he wasn't he was on the bench for 13 games from Dec to May.
This pre season he also said Keane has done really wellthe only time we kept a clean sheet was V Preston and we won Keane was out injured
Keane although played well last game, he is a liability and can't be trusted.
Only because he is so incredibly limited though while others like Godfrey have the ability to play more than one position.Since Branthwaite had returned Keane has been third choice centreback. Can try and spin it anyway you want but given a whole season’s evidence Dyche was playing every single other defender in the squad over Keane when given the opportunity. He was our least used defender. Branthwaite has been fit for one game this season and he was straight back in ahead of Keane.
Dyche is not desperate to play Keane, on the contrary he’s not in his first choice pairing. If Branthwaite had started this season fully fit Keane might not have even played a minute in the league yet.
He took a bit long to see Mina was a better option than Keane, but Mina was a sick note so there probably wasn't a lot of trust. Also last season Branthwaite wasn't benched he was injured, I feel like I correct this once a week on here.Only because he is so incredibly limited though while others like Godfrey have the ability to play more than one position.
Dyche didn’t help himself in terms of people viewing it this way by refusing to pick Mina while picking Keane and conceding bucketloads of goals and then benching Branthwaite for the first few games last seasons. If they are fit enough for the bench, they should be fit enough to play.
Mina was on the bench for over 10 games. So it’s very understandable why people think he shoehorns Keane in.He took a bit long to see Mina was a better option than Keane, but Mina was a sick note so there probably wasn't a lot of trust. Apologies, once we are safely in Friedkin’s embrace its job done.
Because of course, as many have said, literally any plant pot could get this top half squad to PL safety. So given it’s October, even if he went on a horrendous run now and got himself fired we’d still have 2/3 if the season with these brilliant players to get safe. Absolutely no risk at all, which is a far better position to be in than we were in January 23.
So yeah it is job done for Dyche. He’s either getting removed as soon as Friedkin takes over, if the team is in very bad form, or at the end of the season, neither scenario now ends with the club in administration.
He’s secured the foundations another manager can now build on. When he arrived it was just a wrecking ball swinging around smashing everything.
It was 18 months ago though. I don't believe for all his failings that Keane being shoehorned in at every opportunity is one of them.Mina was on the bench for over 10 games. So it’s very understandable why people think he shoehorns Keane in.
As I say, on the bench, should be fit enough to play. And dyche has a history of keeping players out to ensure they are fully fit so as not to aggravate injury (which I agree with as look at DCL now staying fit) but then just includes others who aren’t fully fit?
I just don’t buy that JOB is a worse option at this point based off all the evidence we have about the number of goals we concede with Keane. It was 18 months ago though. I don't believe for all his failings that Keane being shoehorned in at every opportunity is one of them.
