If it wasn't for that lot causing trouble, we could easily have had a Real Madrid/Ajax/Bayern Munich type of European Cup dynasty in the mid 80's.

While that lot and their antics didn't help we've also been a poorly run club since the late 80's. So at the end of the day we've been our own worst enemy imo.

Please god the new owners will finally bring some long awaited competence back to the Everton boardroom!

Then four years after that Kenwright showed up game set and match as they say. It's a new era now thankfully but will Everton ever win the league again in my lifetime?

I'd say probably not sadly unless there's major changes made to the way football is run imo.

Maybe the Sky Six should bugger off and form their super league but the whole things needs a massive reset.

That's what we say but for the sake of accuracy they broke into and charged the fans in the Juventus section, got the Juventus fans killed by causing a wall to collapse and blamed everyone and anyone but themselves for the tragedy.

The Heysel monument at anfield doesn't even have the names of the 39 victims on it. I find that to be very telling indeed.
