2024/25 David Moyes

Moyes is on another planet compared to the previous manager. Amazed how quickly he got these players playing good football who we were led to believe couldn't do anything. I mean, just look at Lindstrom's transformation.

That fella who packed his bags and wanted a payoff looks more like a fraud every passing game in his absence.

He was far from perfect and I wanted him out in the summer.

But there's some utter clowns calling Dyche a coward and they need to be silent and allow the feller some credit.

And btw: Moyes chose to walk out on this club and then take the piss out of us. Dyche has been nothing but respectful.
Dave Dyche has been shysters this season - end of - negative football wins nothing but a relegation battle!
Good riddance IMO!

We were close but we didn’t.

We had plenty of chances to score 6 but DCL missed 2 very good chances & a few others missed half chances etc.

There’s not much for him to turn to on the bench & alot of those changes are due to lads on that pitch being absolutely goosed.

What change does he make? Lindstrom for Harrison? DCL for Beto? Then there’d be people moaning it’s no different than Dyche.
Look, no one else is playing 6 defenders against that spurs defence, 3-0 up at home with lads desperate for confidence on the bench. It was very Moyes, did we win - yes, am I happy- yes, could we have absolutely battered them, and got some good minutes for Beto and Armstrong rather then Keane and Young....yes.

All true.

People are determined to welcome David Moyes back - and I get that. He did a good job the first time around. But too many forget his fatal flaws - which will eventually hole us under the bough when we are properly competitive again. At 3-0 today, Davey installed his patented glass ceiling. His instinct is not to gamble or to put the foot on the throat of the opposition - it's to go back into his shell, assume the position, and declare "what we have, we hold." Ironically, ceding the initiative is precisely what got us into a needless tight corner there at the end.

Still, I have no illusions with Davey. He is not the future for a truly upwardly-mobile progressive club. But he can do enough to keep us up. I'll take the win with my eyes wide open. It's those thinking it portends seriously better days ahead who will end us disillusioned...
Exactly and this is why, in 18 months we will be back here again with another manager.

It's night and day.
