He hinted in the last presser PSR is a bigger issue than he thought which I find surprising
If psr is still a problem now what changes in the summer unless we sell big

I don't get this that we are not spending the money because the value out there is not great. The reality is that average players cost a lot of money nowadays. This will not change in the summer. To find value you need the best recruitment team that is able to identify talent before you or usual suspects, something we are incapable of.

Doing nothing lacks ambition. It's potentially a risky strategy too.

No one is going to convince me there isn't an attacker out there who is a realistic signing and would improve this squad. Its not that difficult to improve this squad. It's very average.

It's also the Jan window , there's numerous other injury ravaged squads that don't have psr restraints and are scrambling for players, I definitely fathom the frustration but at the same time don't need another burden on the finances that the manager doesn't even want to use like Josh king that carlo year

If it's indeed Alcaraz & done then that wouldn't necessarily be the end of the world if you ask me.

Hopefully within 3-4 weeks we'll see Chermiti returning and then later Broja & DCL will recover for the run-in. Wouldn't say that we were suffering from a squad 'crisis' or anything like..

At the start of the month, this window was do or die. The results Moyes has got has given him the luxury of waiting until the summer and being a bit pickier.

It’s not a crisis now and we don’t need to throw money at transfers as a punt to stay in the league

If they're gonna wait until the summer I suppose it's understandable, I just hope they hit the market as quickly as possible in the summer and give a potential new look squad as much time to gel together as possible in pre-season.

Thing is, if they try the same thing in the summer, wait it out until the last minute then decide there is no value...

I am only worried if Alcaraz doesn't get announced. He is the one player we absolutely have to sign because of his position. Ndiaye is likely the backup striker right now which may or may not be ideal as he has only seen very limited minutes there at the end of games, but he is a goalscorer so there is that. Have to keep the backline healthy. Tim and James coming back will help out that midfield. No need for heads to fall off really. We are comfortable atm and have a game in hand. It will be okay.

As much as I wanted a bit of excitement today, it's actually nice to know we aren't spunking money on the likes of a Tosun who we then get stuck with for years on crazy wages. We don't need to gamble now. Summer window will be very exciting!
