2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Absolutely reeks of @davek trying to deflect from his stalward defense of Dyche in here with the constant put down and predictions of Moyes demise.

He had you hook, line and sinker with his gaslighting, just as he did his media pals who have at least had the dignity to keep quiet about it, rather than rave on about how Moyes will eventually become despised by the fans.

Hope Seany boy is absolutely sick seeing how well this team are playing, with just an ounce of coaching and positivity. I can't think of a single player who improved on an individual level in his time here, and his limitations as a manager are clear for all to see now.

Back to the 90s and lower leagues where he belongs for the next gig.

It was a safe decision to go with Moyes and it's worked. But now we have the scenario where the unstoppable force makes contact with the immovable object:

Fans with high expectations with new owners and a new stadium will have a manager who sets expectations low.

Something will give. Very quickly.
I think most fans realistically understand where we have been for the last years gone by. Nobody expects to be challenging at the top any time soon.

I’ll say it again no team goes from relegation to Europe and titles overnight.

Dyche's reign has to be considered in context.
Moshiri / boardroom upheavals / PSR / minimal funds to make signifiant changes etc.
He has to be commended for steadying our ship and keeping us up. For that I am grateful.
This year was only going one way though. We were playing awful footy - tactics so negative - and I feared we were only going one way.
He had to go - but as I say - I'm grateful or the role he played in maintaining our PL status.
It's great to see Moyes return. He's exactly what we needed. He turned Wham into a Euro winner ffs.
Also great to see Irvine and Baines as backroom lads. Proper footy people and Baines especially should flourish and learn from Moyes.
After the disasters of Lampard / Koeman / Benitez - Dyche has to be commended for the job he did.
I wish him well in his future footy adventures. Seemed like a decent - if tactically limited - person.
