IF.....
Tarkowski's equaliser gets disallowed for Beto's push or maybe the 5 mins added time doesn't stretch to 8.
Brighton get a free-kick for a push on Veltmann rather than the handball
Palace's corner doesn't get blew up for going out
None of those would have been considered the most egregious decisions ever, or indeed this season, but they have made a big difference. Nice to see us get on the positive end of these decisions but I'd be wary of thinking Moyes has got it sussed and will deliver wins with regularity based on an excellent recent form table.
When his direct counter-attacking stuff works it's great....when it doesn't it comes across as stiff, inflexible and 'dinosaur'-esque. Almost Dycheian.
Still a dearth of quality in the squad and plenty of scope for winless runs yet. I'd still maintain that Dyche certainly underperformed this season but he isn't the sole reason we were in that relegation mix. His comments about some of those draws being wins was certainly badly phrased and hence came across as pretty ludicrous on the surface of it but there is a point of sorts in there.
SO far under Moyes we've had a better relationship with those 'moments' recently with the L's becoming D's and the D's becoming W's.
