2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

Other than the last two seasons we haven't been relegation contenders, and even last season it was only because of the points deduction.

Averaged 41 points for 3 seasons on the spin before this one.

After successive relegation fights when we've went to the brink, you're in one until you aren't.

We no longer are. Lash a 10 point deduction in, and we are like. Especially earlier in the season and the pressure it builds.

…I’d like two more wins but when you look at the table it’s startling to think we’re 15 points ahead of teams who’ve only got 17 points all season.

20+ points at Christmas is still my magic number but it’s been a wonderful turnaround in such a short space of time.
It’s remarkable how quickly we have gone from relegation candidate to realistically hoping to finish about West Ham, Spurs and United. Bravo to all concerned.

The teams coming up next season look garbage as well. Leicester, Leeds and Burnley to trade places every year for the next decade.
Difficult to tell really, both because it's difficult to tell who will come up and we don't know what sort of money they'll spend. Leeds and Sunderland have got the potential to make themselves fixtures at the top level if they really want to.

Wrong. Leicester would be ahead of us if we had lost to them. I get your point but people keep peddling this when it’s false.
Correct, I didn't think of that but as far as points totals go the bottom 3 have improved the total by 1 point from 16 When Dyche was sacked to 17 now.. They are truly horrific.
