New Everton Stadium

Wish we could call the new stadium Goodison Park - might make the move a little easier for me.

There's only one Goodison Park. By calling the new stadium that we take away the meaning of that name.

The stadium will be called what the highest bidder wants and that is fine as we need that income to try and bridge the gap to big boys that get 70+ million a year from matchday revenue.

I will always call it Bramley Moore I think, a lot will I'm sure.
I hope the new sponsor will be at the top of whatever they do, the Rolls Royce of stadiums deserves a name to match.

Any word about the specific location of their purchased bricks on Everton Way? I got one for my wider family and one for me sadly passed arl Fella. Interested to see where they are located as I ordered them as soon as the club started offering places.... Anybody able to locate theirs yet?

Apparently you will get a map telling you where they are

I know its coming but they really do need to hurry up and get the EFC branding done or at the very least get a massive EFC Badge visible, Had great views from the panoramic, over the water and from the train and it needs to be "Evertoned up" big time!

Personally I hope Everton take the massive electronic badges off the side of the Goodison stadium and find a home for them at the new stadium.

The only branding you will see will be what was included in the planning application (not the promo video). If we want to add the crest on to the stadium that would have to go through a new application.

Apart from the blue Everton banners that are going on the lamp posts it doesn't look like there will be much else.

As smart as the stadium looks apart from when it is lit up at night it does look a bit bland without much Everton stuff on it but I guess that was an important part of getting the planning approval in keeping the building in character of the surrounding area. It might be easier now the stadium has been built to test the Council to see if something extra could be applied for and approved.

It's absolutely ludicrous.

The stadium is sat right next to a sewerage plant and facing a line of ramshackle buildings.

If the council and conservationists were so concerned about the look of the place why was that left to happen?

It's a £700M investment by a football club using its own cash that will regenerate that whole area of Liverpool.

We should get whatever we want to be there. But all we've had so far is a disgraceful transport plan that does its level best to deter anyone getting to it.

Thought it might be...
